Hot Topic: We Dedicate This One To Jerry!
As
we put together this week’s IFExpress, we received sad news that Jerry
McGill had passed away last Friday, January 4, 2008 from a rare form of
cancer. While there was a lot of news to report, we felt it best to step
back and remember Jerry first…the news can wait.
Jerry was a graduate of the US Naval Academy and flew F-14 Fighter planes.
Jerry worked for Hollingsead International as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and had been with them for 11 years. Jerry was also associated with the successful startup Aircraft Cabin Systems and could often be seen at their booth during trade shows. An expert in the business aviation world and in-flight entertainment, he was comfortable and well known in both worlds.
There will be a memorial service next Saturday at 2:00 PM at The First Baptist Church, Frisco, Texas, 75304. Flowers and remembrances can be sent there or to The Turrentine Jackson Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, 75304.
