Hot Topic: World Jet Inventory - A Great Value!

If you have ever done any commercial aviation market research, IFE or otherwise, one of the first things you need is an inventory of the commercial jet aircraft. Expensive services are available that provide and extensive range of fleets and engines, but one of the best bargains still continues to be The World Jet Inventory published by Jet Information Services. The World Jet Inventory – 2006 is just becoming available and for under $200 it should be on the shelf of every marketing professional in this business. We talked with The World Jet Inventory new publisher, Stuart M Miller about the expanded services in the latest edition. He told us that beyond the Year End Summary book/CD, you can purchase the full World Jet Inventory subscription which includes the World Jet Inventory Expanded data CD and extended reports with quarterly updates, and online access to their website database and reports at www.jetinventory.com. The World Jet Inventory Expanded CD includes over 100 charts and tables reporting the status of the commercial jet fleet, plus a comprehensive listing of the fleet aircraft by serial number and registration. This service also includes a new Model History report, an interactive table and chart for historical fleet analysis and presentation. Subscribers also receive the World Jet Inventory Year-End 2006 book…all this and priced at $895.00 per year.

Stuart told IFExpress, "I am pleased to take the reins of one the most respected fleet reporting services in the industry. Jet Information Services, Inc. clients include many of the largest manufacturers in the business, as well as major financial and consulting firms, airlines and government agencies. We look forward continuing and enhancing the features and value of the World Jet Inventory reports. The reports are Excel based so there is very little time required to learn the use of the system. This is a plus for infrequent users that need information quickly. Navigational features have been enhanced to make it even easier to quickly locate the table you need. Jet Information Services online interactive database may be evaluated at www.jetinventory.com"

One of their newest reports is a comprehensive model history report. This table report enables interactive graphical analysis of all historical orders, deliveries, backlogs and inventories by model, manufacturer or aircraft type. This is a very powerful tool for customizing fleet analysis and presentations. The publisher has agreed to provide our readers with some examples of the powerful charting capability of the 2006 World Jet Inventory – see below.
